Sandi, I read a lot of your work, because you took time to look at mine. I'm glad I did; you have talent, but more. I think you share some of the real struggles you have overcome. Not many writers can write the truth. I can't. It seems the closer I get to the truth of something, the more it flees from me, and the poem or story becomes something I didn't intend. I heard a poet say recently that the last line of a poem should be unexpected. As I reread your work, I realize the last line of each verse is "unexpected" and makes the reader reread the verse. Well done, and a nice surprise.
