More poems such as this one should be written. They jolt us to the stark reality of how drugs and the abuse of alcohol affect in ways that often can never be repaired, destroying not only the abuser but the innocent lives in their care. This poem is a perfect mirror of addiction.

But who made them want this way of life? caring parentents who only cared what their friends thought about how well little Johnny is doing at eaton..Johnny only wanted to be a train driver....
