A barren place, a quiet home,
a refuge that feels much more like a jail
an isolation from that which sooths
and disquieting whispers in my mind
Let’s tell the truth I hate aloneness
I’d rather have a friend or lover
to share my space, my time, my life
then live with only me.
I know this is not politically correct these days
When many desire their quiet isolative ways
But I am truthful; I am honest, with me
I prefer another persons company
I prefer another's company too, but with death of hubby Tom Aug 17 07 I have been alone. I don't want or even look for a replacement for him, but suffer aloneness all the time at home. Sometimes it is that I am scared of my shadow and the darkness. But I pray to God and find faith in him. I am still grieving, yes, it takes time and I need to take all the time I want to. Grieving must be or you will get ill later. I find aloneness isn't fun either.
