His thoughts wafted softly

from idea to idea

lazy in their meanderings

the man lay physically inert,

lying back in the embrace

of an old well-worn lawn chair.

The cool morning celebration of the day

began with bright garish color

awash in the Eastern sky.

He lay relaxed and enjoyed

the fact that it was Monday.

Ahhhhhhh the pleasures of vacation.

That is how I feel this week, and I don't even work, I am just here as my Mom babysits, but that still feels like work, lol. This is like a snippet out of life that we all keep in the scrapbooks of our minds.
