The idiosyncrasy of life for me
is my life is merely passing time
It’s hard to find the warmth within
to thaw the love trapped inside
it’s hard to care enough to fear
the time that’s passing year by year
I do find that I have a crust
formed from a raw and open wound
that healed outside but not within
and left me with a life that should
be peaceful and joyful yet, therein
The idiosyncrasy of life for me
is my life is merely passing time
till the end of time is come to be
and relief will be my only care
goodnight, goodbye, farewell to me
oh never will this by my choice
for I believe God has that right
yet I do choose to coast tonight
and ever more, no love for me
A very readable and thoughtful write about a feeling we all share at one time or other. Sandi, may you continue to write from the depths of your heart, the profound truths of life. And may you continue to be a clear voice for the speechless. I treasure your poetry

Love Is But MYTH,i.e. True Love Is Compassion For Others Less Fortunate Than You Or Me...
