just in one of those moods

Attacked and devoured
My heart a tasty snack
Behind blue eyes
My soul is lost
Never again to be saved
Consumed with sadness
Disappointing anger
Discouraged dreams
Never understanding the point
My existance sheer confusion
An innocent child transformed
Why hope? Why Imagine?
The could be's change
To what if's
The future once bright
Now completely covered
By darkness and cobwebs
Wish for the sun if you dare
The consequences carry misery

Kim,

Lost, excellent name for this one as are your other poems. You seem to bury reality with deep emotions. Keep up the good work. Your writing is outstanding. Peace, Love and Blessings, Paul.

Such moods produce good poetry. I wonder what you'd write like
on the light side. Whatever, i like the way you write. -gene.

17-IT’S NICE TO BE ON BOARD-CONFIDENT THE JOURNEY IS MOVING FORWARD-AND SURROUNDED BY OTHERS WHO ENJOY THE FEELING-I CAN NOW SEE THAT TIME SPENT WITHOUT A COMFORTER IN SPIRIT IS MUCH LIKE BEING ADRIFT-NOTHING IN SIGHT-NO SENSE YOU ARE GETTING ANYWHERE-INSECURITY IS THE MOST OFTEN REALIZED FEELING YOU HAVE-OH IT’S SO-SO NICE TO BE ON BOARD-CONFIDENT IN THE REALISM- {understood & willful} evol=love - Ted

A dark place in your life Kimberly....I like to refer to these depressing bouts as storms......We all suffer through them.....Hang on and embrace the trials......Know that you are never alone.....There are significant lessons and much beauty to follow.....Thanks for sharing your trip my friend....

Peace,

Bill

There is always hope as long as you keep writing and freeing your pent-up frustrations with love and life.
