Grey speckled nuances Flecks of silver Surround a darker core The coating thin Almost unseen. This flicker, this glimmer The essence of possibility What lies beneath The foundation of chance. We reach our hands Upward, towards the sky To harness this intangible This spirit of hope. With the strength of two We connect We reach We soar above The dream does not escape us. Now we, drunk with anticipation Of what to come The dream unfolds Around us. Together we renew Aspirations of bliss Of joy Of peace And of rapture. The spirit of hope Endures.
