Our Country's freedoms and rights are worth our effort to stand up and be heard. The baby boomers are the majority, and hopefully with all these years behind us and the potential wisdom aquired; we need to pay attention to our freedoms and rights. And do something about keeping them.

Land of the Free?

The story goes, it’s often said,

 Most will agree,

 The country that were livin in,

 Is, by a thread, hangin:

Free!!

9-11’s, only a part,

Enough!!—that would be;

 But our borders, as well,

Might as well:

 Not B e!

The homeless are hungry, the fakers get rich,

 There’s no honor, now, in digging

 A ditch.

The 97% watch the 3,

Accumulate--. more wealth-- more Power--

Aint life a bitch?

Were told that we have to accept,

 Or that we’re politically:

 In-correct;

Some things that God abhors,

 And, calls:

 An abomination.

Yet our free speech just flew the coup,

Lost

 In the laws of our

 Nation.

And the morals and the manners;

 All civilized peoples, Always,

 Have.

Have given way to drugs and porn;

 No company can come near,

 The money made from porn, today, Is

Uncountable billions

Each and every

 Year.

The churches are full, but do they hear?

 The call of His still, soft voice

 Whispering,

In their ear

 Too many, are having their ears tickled,

 An emotional shed of tear,

Cause in their minds, they’re so much better,

 Than the ones that aren’t here.

Do they see their wicked and, deceitful hearts?

 And come to Him

 On their face.

 Or are they standing tall and proud?

 Arrogance, He:

 Won’t  take.!

So all in all, the stories

rather bleak,

When we’re not sure:

What language?

 What rights we have lost?

 Why we’re treated so rude, and with

 such neglect,

 And delayed without cause,

 In a country we fought to,

Protect.

It’s time to pay attention!!

 Make our voices and votes Known!!

 Or THEY’ll:

 little by little, one,

 Right, or Law,

 At a

 Time

 Take everything We hold dear,

Take everything,

 We Own.
