I wrote this a review of one of Peter Paton's writes. "The games people play" I snagged it, today, as I recalled it.

As the morals decay: escalates the fray;
there's just no bottom line.
It's not just the men, but women and kids,
are leaving their consciences, behind.
Sociopath is word for our times,
as the definition falls close
to home.
No morals ,no guilt, no shame, the conscience, just doesn't exist.
The world has given in ,
to self centered love, and the hell ,
with all the rest.
They'd beat you, soon as look at you,
and leave you bleeding to die,
It's all because they only care,
about the self, the me, the I.
No restraint to temper their temper,
no respect, to alter their treatment;
of the young and the old.
They only care about themselves,
aren't open to be told:
that life as we know it, the freedoms,
we treasure, and protect;
will all by themselves, fall by the wayside, if manners and respect, we ,
continue to neglect.

That's my little story,
I hope that you agree, cause in your poem,
I saw and felt, the same "riled up" that,
exists, in me.------- Art

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.

Giving Myself 'A' Reason For Going On by RickthePoetWarrior

A homonymless man writes shows what it's like to look up the laid he skirts when you’re lying prone(d) to the sidewalk, beer / joint / needle dangling from your hand /lips / arm.
