To the young, beauty,
is something to see.
For the eyes to behold,
a pictorial, tapestry.
As one ages, and matures, like good wine;
the concept of beauty, wisdom, itself, helps to redefine.
The adage, that beauty is as beauty does,
the young, choose to ignore.
How can a verb, such a noun replace?
Why just look at the beauty,
in that body, and face.
But sooner or later the clichés, start to
win.
Actions, do, speak, louder than words,
and, credence is given to: the beauty,
within.

An old axiom that has more relevance now, and is more maligned now, than ever before.
