Prayer vs, retaliation!

Words

Sticks and stones, may break my bones

but words will never hurt me.
A song/cliché, that I must, say:

They musta been deaf, or never learned to:
read..
For, words can take you on a, magical, journey,

or leave your heart to,
bleed.

If that old cliché were true ,
us poets wouldn't have much to do.
No feelings, could we, depict, no wonder to, convey,
Why there'd be no use for ink, to fill our, thirsty
quills.

If words meant nothing, there'd be no tears,

to, aspire to achieve, in joy or sadness, both
there be no suspense, or love's embrace,

with all it's glory, and it's:
thrills.
No, words do matter, and there's power in our pens,
believe, you, me.
so please, let's remember, when we feel like using our pen,

like a gun, load it it with our own, special,  brand:

of skill,

not to make it too large a caliber, and never, shoot,
to kill.

For, death is measured in many ways, and, even, if,

they continue to breathe, act like nothin's,

wrong.
doesn't mean your bullets went astray,

if their heart you were aimin at.

No they'd, as soon you didn't know,

you, set their faith, way back,  left them,

without, melody,

or song,

without, a sort of: family; to which they hope to:
BELONG. !!!

I just had one of those,  who, with me, made

contact.

and asked: why are they doin, this to me?

What did I ever do? What did I ever say?

That would make them this, mean, and hateful,
act.

The only words I could come up with, all I could really:
say:

Is that I'll take it to my Lord, in prayer, and tell you that:

you probably took it way worse than it was meant,

I'm, as guilty, as:

they.
When I don't really stop and think,

before I let my pen, something hurtful:

say!
I'll do my best to let them know,

I'll try to find a way, To tell them to, be careful,

not, to strike out, but for that person,

they're not happy, with,

it'd, be a whole lot better, if we,d, always and ever; rather,  FOR them:

PRAY!!!

ROCK-Salt.

Some folks just like to bleed all over the street too.
Gets tiresome and is emotionally extracting.
Who has time for it? A therapist.

Good one, Rock Salt.

Amen, ROCK-Salt! No matter, the situation, we are instructed to pray.

Jesus took it a step further; He said, "You have heard it said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth - but I say, pray for your enemies. Do good to those that despitefully use and persecute you."

Jesus should know...He DIED for those people, too.

Good write...will pray for your person's situation stat!

love ya, Sis
