Is His love, your driving force?
Or do you listen to complacency's voice?
The choice is simple as can be,
are ya in love with others or stuck on me?
The I, the me, the self, is always callin, that's surly and explicitly true ,
but if ya hear His still soft voice, you'll find He's callin you.
To put yourself way down the pole, and start to use your eyes.
to see the needs of others, and that your ears,
might hear their cries.
It don't take much, a kind word or two, is always a good start,
and when ya take a step towards Him, He'll always changes your,
stubborn, indifferent, heart.
He calls us to a selfless way, and yet we oft protect,
the things that bind us to this world, and allows us, others to neglect.
So open up your heart of hearts, and let His love, erase the sin,
Just ask Him to come to you, and let His healing Spirit in.
For life is but a fleeting dream, if in yourself you stay,
but in Him you have eternal life, It's a much better way!!!!
To bless another should be the goal, for we all need lots a that,
and when judgment day comes, as it will, He'll proclaim us as His own,
and invite us to be with Him, cause we got up,
steada just, in our life's lounger; rested, and sat, and sat, and sat!!!
