Common sense and God sense, don't always coincide.
Tween faith and what we know, we must, try to decide
Caution, and security, beg us not to go faith's way,
complacency, and a need to belong, to mold to status quo;
keep us in all the things, that we think, we know.
Even when we've prayed for things, exciting and new,
We fail to prepare our hearts, for what He'd have us do.
Change always rattles the foundations of things we hold dear,
The devil keeps us in his grasp, thru: worry, doubt, and fear.
So, if you've found yourself, unable to decide, don't feel alone;
everyone has trouble, when they walk, towards His Throne.
For in ourselves we can do it not, with faith, we must proceed.
But faith is so elusive, when it is, all, that, we seemingly, need.
Cause what we think we have, and, who we are, get in our way,
self, is the cost, the very price we're asked to pay.
Few know the battle, there-in, is contained, does really, lie,
Changing, life time ,patterns, often makes us feel like we will die.
There isn't any way, we'll will get there, that will ever, easy seem
But with faith, He will help us, to, realize, our dream.
So stop looking for options, some way to protect,
what He's calling you to give up, traits He'd have you, dissect.
They only seem important, when you know not the blessings of,
following His ways, and, trusting in His love.
He brought this dilemma to your front door,
to help you come towards, Him; to find the joy, of what, He has, in store.
Don't sit and contemplate, just follow your heart,
He'll bring all things into place, He, finishes what He starts.
It's really oh so simple, yet very hard to see,
That in Him and yourself, it's, impossible to be.
Just take that step of faith, and trust His way for you,
Rely on Him to, help you make it thru.
Take what He has laid at your life's door, and trust, that it's Him,
and that you'll never have less, but, rather, be Blessed with so, much more.
Besides if you try, and find it feel it's all wrong,
that you don’t have surety, that, this is, not, where you belong.
Well, that's why it's really very easy, to have faith, then see,
cause He'll never keep you somewhere, you don't want to be.
But, if you've never tasted ice cream, and yet profess, you'll like it not,
well you really should taste it, or in a lie be, caught.
For you really don't know, if it's flavor you've not, sought.
So like the ice cream, give your options a teeny little taste,
step out in faith, see how it fits, see how it feels,
don't make His offer and everyone's time, all, one ,big, waste.
The answer is to try it, it's the only way you'll see,
whether in His Grace, or , in yourself, you'd rather, be.
And the solace to that answer, is that if you just in faith, on Him rely,
You can always go back, and at least, then you'll know,
that you weren't afraid to try.
He will honor your faith, and allow you to see,
whether in your complacency, you want to dwell, or if in FAITH, you,
desire to live, and to be.
There are always other chances, He won't leave you high and dry,
But, He does want you to at least, have the courage and the faith,
to give, what He's offering you, a chance,
at least, give it, a try.
