God's recipe for our lives, is just like most, you see?
Sometimes honey, graces, the day, sometimes, it's chepotle.
Just like mom's wonderful cake, so moist and tasty, too!
You'd complain, like there's no tomorrow,
if she offered just the, flour, or, the cooking oil, to you.
But when the mixings all done, the sifting and baking, as well.
The finished product, is perfection, right down to the, smell.
So when trials and troubles come your way,
know, that they're called for, in the recipe;
That, God uses, to refine, who you are, and,
what, you will be.
Just, ride the white water, then, enjoy, the mild, calm, pools,
just up the way.
Trust Him, that all works for your good, and run the lap of the race,
that, is in front of you, today.
Your reward is eternal--and He's, right there with you,
every step, of the way.
