I used to go to bed With the radio on To sing myself to sleep And boogie in my dreams With the band.
I quit doing it When they started playing “Nights in White Satin” at Four in the morning Because the ending Always gave me nightmares, The worst of which came When I awoke…
This one hits between the eyes. I thought you were going to say you stopped doing it because you'd bounce your wife out of bed with your boogie-ing! LOL Oooooooooops.....LOL Still and all, a bittersweet, poignant write; well done. No wonder I love you: your words always touch my heart and embrace me in thought. Well done.

This poem says volumes, Robert. Very well done -- most of us can and do relate to the emotions here. An excellent write -- always a pleasure, my friend.

CJ
I used to do this; still do sometimse; it relaxes me. I just find a good old classic country station and fall asleep to the strains of Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, and Dolly, and I am a happy camper when I go to sleep! :) Very well done poem, Robert; bravo!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D *KOTC*
This book chronicles an infinite allegoric odyssey of Absolute Awakening in which a learned man, a mute man, and a recluse woman are the principal players. The mute and the recluse are the learned one's Teachers and Guides on his journey of Enlighten
