Take me along to the places you've gone when my eyes looked away.
Tell me the song that you sing in the trees in the dawning.

 Whispers in the Wind

Shhhhh...

Listen, my love...

Can you hear the silence call you
Can you feel the words surround
as wind carries your soft reply
filling the quiet with your sound
and whispers in gentle breeze

Hush, my love...

Feel the security of nature's embrace
sense the touch of her tenderness
the warmth of sweetest smile and
lips that caress you with Zephyr's kiss
to calm your deepest fears

Lie still, my love...

Listen...feel,

Taste the taunting memories
savor the precious moments stolen
longings to be quenched
drink from the oceans of your dreams
and the passion of life's feast.

In the calm, my love

Listen...feel... and taste

Look into your heavy heart
see the goodness that lies within
as life transforms emotion's cell
to promise and tender embrace
with love's reflection mirrored in your soul

Be at peace in love's sensual journey...

Absorb the wonder of silent serenity
Grow in the subtlety of innner strength
Relish the endless possibilities
Welcome life's inexplicable gifts

Shhhhhh, my love...

Can you hear my whispers
in the wind...

One of the reasons I read and enjoy poetry so much is that sometimes I read a poem that makes me feel things, not just on an intellectual level, but on a visceral one as well. What strikes me is that I have had this reaction to so many of your poems. "Whispers In The Wind" is another perfect example. I swear the hair is standing up on the back of my neck! I have been swept away to a place I never want to leave. The beauty of your words, the form and flow of the poem alone make it -yes, another masterpiece. But my own feelings which are brought forth by experiencing this piece are so intimate and powerful, I just want to stay here and live in it. Yes, I can hear those whispers in the wind. They have enchanted me and have taken me away to a special place I can't even begin to describe, but yearn to explore. ~Butch

So calmingly beautiful - I was immediately taken in; is if it had been written explicitly for me - that denotes the mark of superb writer - to effortlessly take the reader into and through the journey. -- Jeff

As sensitive and beguiling as the comforting breeze on a heat-stroked land... the tone is so gentle and yet the sentiments and passion positively SHOUT!! Like a poetic caress of fingers to a lover's cheek, the tenderness is palpable. You are always such an effortless and accomplished writer, Taylor. Soft as silk; tactile like velvet. I FEEL this. Bless you and TY K xx

The first time I read this, I wasn't ready to reply... wanted to cry for no apparent reason. After this second absorption of your remarkable tender and compelling lines, I find that it takes me back to parts of a love I'm hesitant to visit. And, now that I know this, I want you to hear from me: These words will live, for they will reach the heart of the reader, as they did mine. Thank you.

"drink from the oceans of your dreams"

I do indeed drink and savor this cup frequently. The problem with dreams is that no one else shares them with you.

Well ... maybe an occasional person does.

The symbiotic relationship between the dreamer and the one who ingests the dreamers dream is a gulf that most are not willing to cross over.

Most yearn for something that life, seemingly, has deprived them of. The fixation on what is yearned for, but never realized, becomes the muse for the deprived to mull and extrapolate from.

I have seen that no one is really satisfied. Everyone has something that is unrequited in their lives ... something they can't seem to attain or savor.

You write about these things with deep abandon.
