She wanted him as wakefulness eluded her drifting into mid-night... and she wondered how would it feel to fall asleep beneath his mystery in heat of night's beam nestled in inviting curve his smiles against her neck arms draped as the branch in naked caress of twigs about her breasts protecting the woman he has blissfully wearied in this night's allure...

Jeff Mason, Richard Cederberg and Alexandra have all independently spoken such undeniable truths here about you and your amazing talent. It is an incredible gift to possess this poetic ability of yours which we enjoy so much. I don't think I could possibly add anything to what these poets have already written here, except to say I eagerly await the next Taylor Ryan gem to appear and move my heart and mind to this magical place to which you take us all! Wow! Great job. This has a wonderfully sensual feel about it. You might like my "Dreamland" and "Alabaster Moon" poems. I write a lot about dreams and fantasy.
This is gorgeous poetry, subtly yet powerfully sensuous, with a masterful use of language and imagery. A warm, liquid "skin" of a poem, enveloping the reader's emotions which, simultaneously, flow with it. Magnificently done, Taylor, and a pleasure to read!

"To fall asleep beneath his mystery" is of course a quintessential and exemplary example of the profound romantic that you are. Nothing will ever interfere with your visions of love and what you envision for yourself.
And quite frankly, I would extol this profound coquettish sensuality that you possess if I was sure that it was really the ache of your heart and not just the muse leading you.
Supremely (!) romantic, and... dare I say that your poetry is addictive. You have such a verve about your meanderings that effortlessly draws the reader in, without his/her knowledge, a seamless segue directly into the core of the reader's soul. You are much more talented than you realize. Think you have tapped in to a very deep root with me, from my childhood, about seeing the limbs of trees as protective and swaddling... more evident at this time of year as they become strongly naked.... Funny, I have had something brewing on the tip of my tongue that flirts with similar ideas, but my Muse hasn't quite got it altogether yet...Not sure I want to even try after this poetic delight...
