Sigh... from my head to your perfectly expressed words, Ronald... I've been saying this for years, but with none of the eloquence within your pen. The Olympics are a huge deal in my house... when I watched Iraq, Iran, One of the Arab nations, THEN the U.S. walk in, in that order, I was filled with the sentiments you've written here. Sigh...
