Fantastic write Ron!

Day dreams are what made our concrete and steel reality in the cities. Someone had to dream up a way to make a car, a building design and everything in between.

Then there are night dreams. I have them often with lots of people involved but they sometimes make no sense. I seem to live in an underground world where my dreams continue from one episode to the next. Yes, just like a soap opera. I can sometimes recall the same floors, interior designs and the same people in the continuum. Sometimes its so euphoric, I get upset when I wake up but then I usually continue where I left off. Most of these dreams are rather enjoyable with people laughing, singing and folks having a good time socializing. I love to dream about a party in our house and never worry about cleaning the place up! Now that's ideal time!

Dreams can turn to nightmares. I stood by the Brooklyn Bridge gazing at the water. Then a bomb demolished the beauty in bright colors vibrant and real. I woke shaking.

A good portion of my dreams are vivid. Though I never see myself, I always know I'm the one dreaming. An interesting thing is, my Christianity is exactly the same in my dreams as it is when I'm awake. I've heard it averred that if humans didn't dream they would go insane. Perhaps that's true. But I've never not dreamed. And I'm still somewhat sane. For me personally, dreaming has a tendency to set the tone for the day. But not always. I've noticed over the decades that my happier, more focused, more productive creative days, are always after I've had flying dreams. Thanks for sharing. r

YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS MUCH YOUNGER I CONTINUALLY DREAMT OF SOARING. SEEMS I WAS JUST OUT OF THE REACH OF THE GRABBING HANDS OF...??? I NEVER KNEW WHAT. IN ANY CASE, WE SOMEHOW KNOW WHEN DREAMS ARE TO BE REMEMBERED OR FORGOTTEN. BECAUSE WE DO JUST THAT...WE REMEMBER THEM OR THEY FADE AWAY. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN I WILL WRITE THE DATE OF A PARTICULAR DREAM OR MAYBE DRAW A SYMBOL THAT I SAW, JUST TO MAKE SURE TO REMEMBER IT. Pleasant or nightmarish,
dreams range from b ad to great.
