Bony Butts

I am convinced of the possibility,

That when this child was born,

Her spirit was somehow infused,

With that of my own baby sister.

For as my granddaughter grows,

The look in her magical eyes,

Seem to look at me with wisdom,

And a somewhat familiar, mischievous grin.

I sense my sister’s spirit,

When I hold this little girl,

And when she climbs up in my lap.

Perhaps it is mostly due

To both of their bony butts!

I can imagine that your sister's spirit is attaching itself to your granddaughter. It's a nice thought, peaceful even, considering your sister's stage in life.
BTW, I've got a bony butt, too. :-)
Love,
Becca~
