Here we stand breathless,
Awed by the magic all around.
Moonlight floats downward,
Kissing my love without a sound.
Stars twinkle brightly,
Mirrored by dewdrops on the ground.
And we are one.
Our lips merge gently
In our wonderland by night.
A choir of crickets
Sings us love songs for July,
While baby breezes
Whisper so softly as they fly.
An owl's hoot echoes,
The echo of our last goodbye.
Soon comes the sun.
Our arms part slowly
In our wonderland by night.
As I put the words together mentally with the melody, it works. I could almost sing it. Maybe you, or someone you know could put up a YouTube video of singing it.
