This is a poem about a dreamer who becomes more realistic in what can be acheived.
THE KEY Near a door opened slightly Peering through Seeing the firelight Reflecting off of you Trying to breech the gap Looking down Confined by doubt A lock with no key I once lived in the world of dreams It almost killed me Fantasy a poor shield Against the blade of reality Now I live a different life In it All things must move forward What does not grow dies In this I am free LPD
