Just poetry ... a return to writing
I walked where once we walked And gazed where once we looked I sat where once we sat and felt The years have changed the views Time has with life infused The scene now different before me Tears they flowed from troubled heart Fears they froze the emotions hard I dread what I have done to you I hate what my words have made you into The view is still as beautiful as then But not remotely beautiful without you My beautiful friend Remember the eyes now with tears Remember the rose now wilted Remember the laughter the closeness The hands that in friendship touched Revealing the hearts that understand What have I done, what has become What has become of us?
