Though I am lonely as I walk through life I am not alone My God, my faith sustain me His grace soothes my anguish From the chaos of conflicts Of those screaming for war
He hears my steadfast prayers for peace As I beg for a miracle To feed those starved by hate He scoffs at men counting weapons As countries wave their flags And guard their sacred lines
God acknowledges none of the petty He knows no boundaries He counts nothing but His faithful His children of the world So I may be lonely as I walk through life But I am not alone
