Mental Cacophony

I think everyone at one time or another has trouble with a thought they can't get rid of. Obsessive thoughts like "I could kill you"...er, I mean "you are bugging me." Some of us can't get rid of the thought no matter what you do. And I think that is a crime...

Mental Cacophony

No beginning; no ending
Spiraling in ever smaller rounds
Only to be thrown to the edge
Barely in touch with the ground
Pain of passing unsighted
Into the darkest of night
Suddenly soaring into a light too bright
Thoughts cascading nonsense
With emotional drowning
Coiled taunt for another unending

Writing poetry is the flip side, Liz...a cycle of destructive thoughts is better left to the positive side of the quill...an emotional trigger, you pulled Mental Cacophony off! Be well.

Sage

When I began getting those types of thoughts against my atrocious bosses at work, I soon knew that I had to retire before I went 'postal,' and now, I rarely think of them, at all.

Everyone has felt like this once in a while. However you have to get rid of the thoughts and focus on your happiness.Concentrate on something that you care about the most and erase those thoughts out of your head.

Who me? I am as pure as the wind-driven snow and . . . Oh, okay . . . I still carry around a few of those thoughts. The murderous ones are easy to get rid of, you just have to kill it off in your mind and it will never bother you again. Murder most foul is the only way to go. Either that or stay wasted twenty-four-seven . . .
