If I turned my back on you Would you reach out to hold me, And warmly enfold me close to your heart? Would anyone care, Or anyone dare to Try to tear us apart? Just two people it seems Who stand in their dreams A few moments along life's dreary way, Nothing more than to share A few moments to care, And once more be on separate ways. Oh, a love that's so deep Is something to keep And treasure through all of your days. It doesn't take much, An occasional touch No matter what anyone says. For a love that so burns And frequently yearns Is a very small price to pay. It seldom comes twice, This pearl of great price. So keep it however you may.

I don't like to turn my bakc of anywone. You said it all in this great poem. I offended a poet Vickie McColley on author' den and had to apologize. Said she should forget her bad husband. Missunderstood me and now I want to read more of her poetry along with yours to . Like to not hurt anyone.
