There is never a day that my husband doesn't include his brother's memory. I wish I could have known him!
Shake the hand of your brother Cool all the flames that burn hot Shake the hand of your brother Your name is all you’ve got
Staring through the glass over the board of my dash Like watchmen together, wearing our leather outbursts of recollecting, I hear clocks ticking... What’s yours is what’s mine Where we came?, And our family name. How it burned brightly in that lightening’s flame! And, Within that moment... A split second of time, The flame of pride filled our eyes So...it’s OK if you go? No! The visions have lasted all of my life This memory of him and I never leaves of my sight His time with me, a moments flash A short circuit transmitted from the conductors wrath

I wish there was the same bond between me and my two sisters, but we tend to live our own lives almost apart. This is a lovely poem and hope I shall do more than just phone my sisters occasionally. Victor
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
