I wish more people in this country, and the world could see this like you do. It seems that we are more concerned with what our neighbors are, than what we ourselves are doing. I'm transgendered and just because I am different doesn't mean I don't believe in God, or His son Jesus, and it doesn't mean I don't pray. But because I am different I am ostracised by society, because in their eyes I don't measure up to what I am "supposed" to be.
Where in the Ten Commandments does it say, "thou shalt not be the person in they soul?" Where does it say that?
Our souls are who we are. While our sire's genes created the chromosomes in this body, God forged my soul, and there are times the body and soul does not match.
So be it, you be you, and I'll be me. Thank you for sharing these lines of wisdom.
