In the church or in the schools,

I am woman… I keep it cool.

Be it food…or my last penny

I am woman…I help my enemy.

Liberated or confined

I am woman… I am defined.

Whether wealthy or even poor

I am woman…like an eagle I will soar.

Whether free or in captivity

I am woman…I still have dignity.

Whether up or when I down,

I am woman…I wear no frowns.

I may be big or can be small,

I am woman…I have it all.

Call me together or call me disgusted

I am woman…I am not insulted.

Full figured bust or tiny frame,

I am woman…I still got game.

Praise in my victories or point at my blames ,

I am woman…I am not ashamed.

Strong as an ox or humble as a child,

I am woman…I always wear a smile.

Say it clear…say it loud,

I am woman…I am proud.

I go through things that you would never understand

Because I am woman…and you are MAN!
