My first attempt at writing lyrics...LOL! Hope you enjoy it.
My last plea I’m Waiting for a breakthrough Looking for a miracle Trying to hold on to you Honest with my words I want so much more Than prospects turned tragic Don’t decimate my core Don't turn depth to shallow My brightness to dark We’ve been stripped of pretense We’re exposed like bark The battle we fought In a moment vain Caused tears and regret To descend like rain. But here I am now Clothed in nothing but truth Make me your wife Give me your root. Allow me to change To grow peaceful bliss A tree full of love Born of our kiss. My last plea I’m Waiting for a breakthrough Looking for a miracle Trying to hold on to you.

A longing song of need and desire for the love that makes or breaks a relationship. Great lyrics and would make a great soul number.
