I've always wanted a little girl...so, this is just my imaginings...
A sweet round face Two buttons for eyes A prim, proper nose Petite is her size Age 6 she would be If only she could But counting's not yet For this toddler so good She winks--your heart melts You smile, she's glee You reach for her hand She's gone--she's free A tumble, a step Back up from her fall No scrapes and no scars She heads for toy ball And returns it to you So playful is she God's perfect one A blessing indeed!

Kids are great, at six they just talk talk and talk, and if it's a her
it carries on for life..lol just kidding...

Wendi, this is adorable -- one wouldn't even know you didn't have a little girl! I raised three daughters and you've described them so perfectly. Adorable poem.

i had two girls and a boy and they were all a delight at one time and a terror at others...hasn't changed now they are grown
