Tranquility
Sit back and take a deep breath of cleansing air
Let tranquil peace run through your veins
Be as comfortable as a favorite old shoe
All snug and cozy as when it rains.
Be especially proud of who you are
Of the goals and accomplishments you’ve made
Be thankful for all your spiritual attributes
And the self-control sought, gained and obeyed.
Tranquility comes not from the world without
But rather from the personal world within
It is the peace felt deep in the depths of us
Our attitudes, as we watch each new day begin.
We cannot change others within our sphere
Nor can we change the vast world all about
We can make a world of difference however
By bettering our space from the inside to the out.
Teach thyself humility, kindness and generosity,
Let good feelings generate a calming peace
Face problems with challenged exuberance
And feel the flow of tranquility’s serene release.

Truly sage advice.
Self acceptance and knowing who you are in Christ is the greatest peace of all. :) Well done!
