Very touching piece. I too am a cat person and my cat Quagmire is amazing. They are very special creatures. Thank you very much for being my first poem review, I appreciate it... This is a very moving piece I am quite impressed. It makes the fact that you read my poem and left a comment seem even more meaningful. I am sorry about your loss but you are so right with your attitude towards this death. Best wishes, Mark
I think this lucky cat knew she was loved throughout her life. I love my cats. Liz

Karen
brang tears to my eyes, i love your poetry so true to yourself, and is like a window into your very soul.I hope you shall always find peace when you remeber her.
Cheyenne lives on in your memory and now in beautiful poetry--what a tribute. I'm sorry for your loss. People say losing an animal isn't as hard as losing a loved one. Pets ARE loved ones, and I don't agree....it's never easy. No more greeting you home; no more purring you asleep; no more comfortable kittywarmth on your frozen toes. I know you miss her...again, I'm sorry.
hurting, so sad
know the feeling all too well
my John John past March it'll be two years
he was my road dog went every where with me
died of old age....brings but the special moments
enjoyed
Had a pet like that too! Her name was Nig, named after my uncle. She was jet black with a trace of gray due to age. I loved her dearly, she as you stated was my companion, my childhood companion...I got her when I was about nine or ten, she passed away when I was sixteen. Nothing like the love from and for a pet. Enjoyed this so much.
Blessings,

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Emotions poemized in heart that pumps love... "Cheyenne" sings the absence of a true companion through its poetized lines.
I salute You, Poet.
