Little girl walking crossed my path today........
Little girl lost..... Little girl walking crossed my path today. Stopped, looked up quickly went on her way. Windblown dark hair much in need of a brush. First walking, then running why in such a rush? Her clothing was dirty she had but one shoe. Looked up at me I could see, she had piercing eyes of blue. Her face was riddled with dirt and tears. I wiped her eyes tried to calm her fears. Picked her up brought her into my house. She looked all around but sat quiet as a mouse. A glass of chocolate milk carefully placed on the table. Fixed her a sandwich tell me your name when you are able. While she was eating walked outside, looked around. There is a school behind us did she walk off the playground? I noticed a car circling driving very slow. Looking for a little girl, she is missing did you know? When they described her I asked them to pull around. The little girl they are looking for, I told them I have found. Her mother was happy cried all the way to the door. When she saw her daughter, she picked her up off the floor. Holding her daughter so terribly tight. Guess it must have given her a horrifying fright. Put up a pot of coffee, let her mother settle down. A sublime story-poem... "Little Girl Lost" shows what happens when one is "INDIFFERENCELESS".

A touching write my friend, if this isn't a fiction write thank God you were there! It is a creative and well written write fiction or nonfiction! Enjoyed this much, let's one know that there are still good people around America...we hear so much in the news about horrible acts against children, it's good to hear positive and uplifting displays of christianity! Great write!
