Underfoot..........


       Open the windows, sun shining bright,
       weather is warming, rain going away.
      Clean up the RV make ready for travel,
     time is approaching to go out and play.

 By the back window, kitties watched close,
   sitting and staring, wanting to come out.
         No time to play, have work to do,
    begin to feel guilty seeing them all pout.

  Finally stopped, went back into the house,
  they gather around, six eyes looking at me.
      Okay! I will bring them into the RV,
    Alex, Cassie and here comes Cherokee!

 Opened the slide out, put up kitty cushions,
  released the windows, shades, screen door.
  I need to clean, they are up to their tricks,
 while they are running around on the floor.

       Throwing toys, getting underfoot,
  little girls I must sweep and clean today.
   Give them food, hope they calm down,
    now will you listen, hear what I say.

     Washing counters, table and walls,
 need to be patient, I know they will sleep.
Have their own toys to keep them occupied,
    then all at once no sound, not a peep.

Alex and Cassie went for the kitty cushions,
  to lay down, sprawl out, rest their head.
The other likes darkness, a soft spot to rest,
    she curled up near pillows on the bed.
