Our Final Goodbye

It is so sad to watch
anything in life die.
A life that you thought
had finally come true .
Just to watch it all
come crashing down on you.

I shall ask you no
questions as to why.
We'll just end this
with a handshake
As we say our final
goodbye.

~*~

There are no regrets
for ever loving you.
For we had our share
of some good times too.

~*~

I thought that our
love was special,
That it would never
die nor fade away.

~*~

It only comes to
show you,
How ones life could
change day by day.
