~ Oh What Will I Do ~
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Oh what will I do
Now that you're gone?
All that I do now
Is sit and think of you.

~*~

Without you how will I
Be able to move along?
I think that it's something
That I just cannot do...

~*~

I hold on to your photo
Each night in my bed.
Often I talk to you as
Though you're are still here...

~*~

Often I think about us
And the words that you said.
Deep inside of my heart
I will forever hold you near.

~*~

On the outside I act as
Though things are okay.
No one knows what's inside
No one knows my deep pain.

~*~

What will I do now that
I am all alone?
For I'm used to being held
In your arms all night long.

~*~

For I am not used to being
On my own.
What am I suppose to do
Now that you're forever gone?

~*~

Each night your photo
I kiss,
As I stare into your
Beautiful eyes....

~*~

The warmth of your touch
So deeply I do miss.
Oh what will I do with
The loneliness that's inside?

A sad note, but beautifully-written. Thank you so much Trixie for remembering my Dad. Yes, he is doing a lot better these days.

Ah, such sadness in this beautiful poem, how I wish I knew the answer, for my heart is so sore, I can think of nothing to say, except your touching and moving poem is embedded in my heart this morning...

Yes I agree with Rage...I noticed the difference in the tone of the poetry ...of course still beautiful writing....I am thinking this is just poetic license you took in writing a sad one....Hope so....floria
