I dedicate
"Beauty of The Rose"
To my father....
I wrote this one in 1999
As my father laid upon
his death bed...
So Daddy -
This one is for you.
With all of my love.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
~ Beauty Of The Rose ~
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
A precious temple given
Oh so full of life.
Like a delicate rosebud
Beginning to gracefully bloom.
~*~
A heart filled with love
Wanting to share with all.
For one more to love
There's always plenty of room.
~*~
Through time - life is beginning
To take it's toll.
For with each passing day
A little more is taken away.
~*~
Gradually weakening the temple
As it begins to grow old.
Suddenly, you find that
You're counting the days.
~*~
Oh yes, Yesterday's temple
Was in full bloom.
Somehow time has managed
To slip on by.
~*~
For the end of my days
Are to arrive soon.
So as the -
"Beauty Of The Rose"
I too shall wilt and die.

Trixe dearest, such a beautiful tribure to your Dad. I know he loved you and felt very
close to you in his later years. You took the burden of care, and anyone who does this is indeed an Angel on earth. Your Dad is with you always. He love you and protects you. Baby you are so very precious. I will always love you. Your Bill
This is beautiful Trixie.
A brilliant tribute to your father. May he rest in peace on gold-trimmed clouds and touch the souls of the angels, always; in the light you have touched my heart with this poem.
Happy 4th of July!

TRUE STORY. Bella survived an abusive powerbroker father with organized crime ties, a drug-addicted mother and a physically/sexually abusive brother. Shocking & inspirational. When she couldn't cry, she tattooed a crying angel to cry for her.
