~ Screams From Within ~
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Screams from the depth
of my soul.
Yet, My screams go unheard.

~*~

Oh this constant ache
within my heart.
Yet, no one ever knows
For I keep my pain obscured.

~*~

You were my mentor, my rock,
You are my beloved son.
The reality of your death
So hard I try to block.
Yet, it just cannot be done.

~*~

It's so unnatural for mother
to bury her child.
Oh how life has a way
of knocking you down.

~*~

It's so much easier to live
in my world of denial.
For I cannot accept that
you're no longer around.

~*~

Many nights I have
the same dream of you.
Oh the rapture to see
you once again.

~*~

Sobbing with joy
as I run towards you.
Slowly you begin fade away,
Leaving me alone once again.

~*~

I awaken to thousands of tears
streaming from my eyes.
Again the grief & emptiness
totally consumes me.

~*~

My dearly beloved son,
How do I ever say goodbye?
It simply just cannot be done.
For I know that in spirit
You are always at my side.

Hugs the lost of a child is one the most difficult experiences we can go through. There is no answers. I can only hug you again with the silence of this grief, wishing for you peace.

Oh Trixie such a beautiful sad poem...I know well this feeling, a mother never says goodbye to her children they remain hers throughout eternity, I came to terms with it when I realized he is just in another dimension and we'll meet again soon until then we are together in spirit!
