Oh let me hold you - if only for awhile. ~~ For I shall craddle you in my arms, As I rock you with a warm smile... ~~ My dear - let me take your pain away. For I shall cast it all aside.... ~~ It hurts me to see you feeling this way. For you are the core of my life... ~~ Come slowly to me - my love. For we still do have our hopes & dreams... ~*~ Allow me to turn your frown - into a smile. For things are not as bad - as it may seem! Nice work Trixie. I sensed some double-entendre's in this poem - maybe deliberate, maybe not. But they made the poem even more alluring for their discovery
