Poem Artwork

pics not too good, but it is a real whale, hummingbird, and a real conch shell
with my feeble flowers just for effect
all pasted in a real photo;-)

~*~

I had this incredible dream
last night and wrote it down
 at 3:20 a.m. No I'm not
on anything;-)heehee

How A Poet Is Born

Creator sent His spirit to the ocean
Descended into it's depths
In harmony with the motion
He ejected a seed that would
Germinate a new species

A whale was the breed
That would host the seed
Until time for it to leave
It became a large conch like
Rainbow colored seashell
To be deposited on a wave
That would carry it to shore

Found by a girl on the beach
She took it to use  as a planter
Some dirt and purple wildflowers
Kept outside on her porch where
hummingbirds fed and as they flew
Some  nectar dispersed in the air
The wind carried it wherever it blew

When a woman is pregnant
If in the vicinity of nectar enhanced air
She breathes, and it permeates her womb
And when she gives birth, a poet is born

Creator made sure poets had His spirit
Knowledge of ocean, an idea of whale song
Of dirt and flower, and a sense of flight
The freedom of wind,  birth of humanity
And the remembrance of rainbows

For a poet must have all the tools neccesary
To write in a variety of ways that convey
The essence of the God who is and
Always was the Creator of Cryptic poetry

All the infinitesimal pieces coming together like a beautiful kaleidoscope - every changing and yet all holding cohesively together. This is the most wonderful allegory/dream and I adore the rich diversity of all the component parts, Eileen. Embraces many cultures and a taste of all the elements. A Creationist write if ever there was one!! :)) Glorious and sensual as well. TY and bless you. Kate xx

Keep working on those photo's, you are doing more than I can figure out how to do...as for the poem, it is up to your usual standards and maybe even above that...and would I "ever" even think that you are "on" something...and I can imagine Bolton doing just that...LOL! Ed

I can't add or subtract a word from what Carmen says below Eileen !
It pays to write these vivid dreams down for sure, and by posting them other perceptive people may glean for us the true input of the mysterious dream !
I like the improvised picture !
A good start to my morning readings !

Eileen,

This is absolutely stunning! I am glad you were able to catch what was in your dream; I dreamt about a new ride at Cedar Point in Ohio that they are building (I MAY write a poem about that; stay tuned!), as did Karla. YIPES!! LOL. It sometimes helps to write about what you have dreamt, to see what they mean (something I haven't attempted yet!!). Great write, dear Diva of the Den! BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

SEE?? Ohio has my mind all messed up! STUPID ride!! LOL

What a beautiful dream-story with an important message. I wish I had beautiful dreams. They are few and far between. I think the medicine gets in the way. Exceptional write, Eileen.
