music "Holding Back The Years" ~8~ Surreal shades of dawn appeared Lilac gray misty morn Eyes were full of foggy tears My face they did adorn With thoughts of you in barren blue My heart don't want to beat We have lost colors tried and true Love can't find mercy seat Surrounded by the castles moat with bridges all destroyed Pictures of you in carnal coat Remind me of the void Fervent desire tears me apart But you won't always hide Oh gentle you, of fickle heart Our love can't be denied etw

POW! What impact this poem has on my heart, which logic tries to hide in it's protective mechanism. Oh but all it takes are words like these or a tune like "Holding Back The Years" (my absolute favorite by Simply Red)to remind me that love never dies. Beauty, Eileen...

Love is unstable in the early years of its birth but takes root as it is protected and nurtured with mutual understanding and respect.

Have you not noticed, girlfriend, that men have an on/off switch for love? LOL! Actually, I tend to be the fickle one, though if I tell someone I love them, they can be certain that I am telling the truth and that I can be trusted not to stray in body or spirit. The keepers don't make us cry from hurt, they kiss away our tears or cry along with us.
