China is indeed a super power but i can't get over how the elite power base steals the land from the poor without compensation, placing them in tents, building these awesome edifices around them and leaving them to fend on their own ... just too many human rights issues left unanswered ...
Isn't this the country that killed the female babies ? That sort of control is archaic. China is so advanced in some areas and backasswards in others. Thank you for an informative write and a chance to be vocal.

Excellent conclusion! Loved the photo but I have to wonder how such a building will standing in bad weather? Perhaps better then most because high winds could blow through instead around.

I just love the Art of Architecture, in all its shapes , forms and designs..
In particular I adore Escher's work !
As for China, we always bear in mind that they are still an oppressive Communist Regime, that tramples on Human Rights and persecutes the innocent people of Tibet, notwithstanding they ( China ) are arming Iran and Syria to the teeth, to attack Americans , British and Israelis in the Middle East..

Good stuff. Personally, I am of the mind that China is playing a far bigger role in the mess in the Middle East and eslewhere. Yes, they have allowed some captalism to come there, quite a lot, actually, but they still have their bootheels firmly on the necks of anyone who speaks out of line. You wrote this about the many voices which bombard the airways and the ones behind those closed door that we don't know about. Except here in America. We like to leak. Do that in China, see what it gets you. Sorry, got carried away, loved the poem.
