I was acquiescent,demure whenever it was called for my appearance pleased him answered his every whim fed him the finest foods fed his moods sultry or serene I kissed his hardness into life stroked his ego to highest heights I stood up for my rights, but usually gave him top billing whatever he asked within reason I was willing, had our ups and downs but I thought for sure we'd last should have realized from his past he would never find satiety he was a glutton for variety

Oh yes, brilliantly written poem!
So much about men is the visual thing, and not the heart thing. Even when you know it and have victory over it, you still struggle with it.
Many men, in their pursuit of self gratification, have left multitudes of wounded souls in their wake. In my early twenties I was one of them. Its a good thing that God forgives.
These words show the sadness of offering too grand a buffet.
Methinks he was no connoisseur of the delectible fruits you offered, minx; and showed he wasn't worthy, either!
As much sister wisely says he was of the 'buffet' set... well done Eileen!
