Summer skies are getting nearer
Comes now the season love adores
Creator hides  spring til next year
Prepare to laze on sandy shores
Ocean's melodic song stirs senses
To arouse in you thrills of desire
Together aligned with no pretenses
It's not the sun setting you on fire
Sultry  memory in romantic crave
Fingers ecstatic glide over skin
Divine echoes dance in on waves
Erotic thoughts show lascivious grin
No guilt, no worry just plain out glee
Has cormorants skipping over the sea
In briny waters where all can play
We take part in sharing a glorious day

Yes Eileen, Summer's on it's way. Really enjoyed this one, but having been around Gulls trying to feed them I shiver at the thought of liquid bombs LOL.

It's all those dancing shadows and silhouettes, sparkling in both sea and sand, Eileen... Tricks the eye and mind wonderfully when the spirit is quickened and enlivened with the salt-stir winds racing through blood and bones... Yep, surf is permanently up on the Burnside beaches these days! Very Isley Brothers and Bill Withers, thank you. Kate xx

I know, it is not the sun, it is the heat. And I can feel it perculating from the sand to the loins. You took a little licentious with this one. ;-)

We will be sharing that glorious day with our allergies but no lascivious grin on our faces, just the charming expression of headache coming with the pollen.
A nice poem....atchoo!!!

I miss the ocean so much, used to spend my evenings sitting on the beach, so relaxing. Now am homesick for the cry of the seagulls, the water kissing the sand, the smell of the salty air.....So wonderful!

Be safe,
Karen

Eileen,

Yes, I believe it is! We had our warmest weekend so far this season, but Spring storms in the forecast for the upcoming week...ick. I'd rather have the heat (although hot days wear me down). Never satisfied! LOL However, I am totally satisfied by this beautiful, hopeful poem. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
