Ed's photo on his Northwoods poem reminded me of the thousand islands in Canada.The chain of islands that straddle the U.S.-Canada border in the Saint Lawrence River as it emerges from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. Of course there are that many because they consider it an island if it supports one tree and has rocks.;)

Ed, having lived near,and frequently visited the Northwoods I fully understand your  love for the area, I love it too!

Wonders of Creator delight our eyes
Waterways,mountains,landscapes skies
The beauty of a sunset and sunrise
The sights, sounds, scents, mesmerize
All Created life a wondrous  surprise
Can you imagine Creator's paradise?

Can you imagine Creator's paradise?

A mind boggling thought, Tiger Lily - especially with all the many Creative wonders right here on earth for us to enjoy. I hope I get to see His other Paradise some day.

As for the islands of the northwood - they are truly spectacular, and I'd love to build a small cabin - on my own little island! And thanks so very much for mentioning my poem.

Once i went up the river Rhine in Germany and went past some castles that were out of this world. Just to let know about them.
Just a trip to Hawaii can let you see a little of the Creator's Paradise.
