Another disappointment
Another missed opportunity
His name should be procrastination
He is such a dear, but a late one
Always late,and won't change
I know it and accept it
But wonder for how long
He lives by his own time
Yet, his love is a wondrous thing
He pleases me in all ways, always
Except when we miss appointments
Waste tickets for hard to get shows
that can't be refunded
Have family and friends on my back
About never being on time,or worse
Not getting there at all
Then he comes home, with a precious
Blue rose, and his arms embrace me
His eyes melt into mine, as his lips
Wipe away all time...I am sated

A rare beauty, this Blue Rose...well done!
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Beautiful blue rose and the words that go along with the picture. I enjoyed the expressions you used to compare your blue rose to the fecklessness of a man as well as his rebound "in his own time." Very well written.

Ah, I hate not being on time. I'm one of those who is always early. Sounds like his internal clock is off or in a different time zone.
Love to you...and as always, a pleasure to read.
