upon  break of day i awake
my thoughts go to Him

the sun warms me and i'm
filled with desire for him

as i go about my morning routine
i lift my spirit in thanks to Him

my prayers are interrupted by thoughts
of love-making i shared with him last night

feeling guilty i try to go back to prayer
how much i love and want to be with Him

i become  restless wanting to
come to terms with priorities

why must it be this way,a struggle as to
which him i want to be with more

it isn't fair that i can't seem to separate
the love and need i have for both

perhaps it is because i think he and Him
are so much alike... tis a quandary

Indeed it could be a quandry. Maybe, just maybe "MR. HIM" provided you with "mr. him" which means it's a win-win all the way around, eh?

Cheers,
Dan

Him, I regard Him wishing that the father figure in my mind and my heart come true, because my own father never had time to show me he was one.

Tis a quandry, but then it is really not one. Each has their own specialties, and knows how to make our lives whole. I think, I'll give them each 'their due' and strive to make my life right with each of them. Awesome poem.

God bless you. Kathy

All the men in our lives and then to have to choose seems perplexing, but God always comes first and foremost because without HIM there is nothing....

Be safe,
Karen
