All three have faults, that no one can deny

The world at large makes fun of our process
Politics USA style has beome a 3 ring circus
Aside from what's happening with politics
Our nation seems content with acting sick
What happened to "We're all in this together"
Our minds change about as much as the weather
No one knows for sure how it all will end
It just gets harder to know foe from friend!
Write on. Our disposable income allows us to chase fads almost from birth. We are three generations from the Great Depression and think we can create prosperity in our own image. It's an artificial house of cards that can easily fall. Our political process needs to be as democratic as the Internet, and as inexpensive.

The too liberal America has certainly done our great spirit much harm. Our sovereignty has provided us with a democracy and freedoms no other people enjoy, but most lust for. The politicos that would turn us into a global place without special identity, such as the EU countries, do our people, our great nation wrong. I can understand your dislike for the first two, but I think you give McCain far too much credit for 'being sage.' By his own admission, he wants to be a Bush Clone, and continue 'as we are.' I doubt we as a nation could survive another 4-8 years 'of the same.'
Maybe we should just cancel all elections for awhile, and let the country run itself; we probably wouldn't be in any worse shape than we are right now.
