Unlike the last rater' I won't presume to lecture you on 'your' take of running out of options! I'm sorry, but other read ones work and seem to think that it's their unelected job to tell you what 'your' poem means.lol.. I am different. I'll just say..I liked it very-very much" keep writing.

Well there are always options, it's just that sometimes they all stink. Undefined moments or not, life trudges forward. Being true to yourself will help you make the best of what transpires. Patrick

There are certainly times in my life that I wish I could start over again... but how many times are there that we truly can start over again? I figure that those are the times in life that create depth to our character and add empathy to our souls...

Eileen, I like this a lot. There are those times when we feel that we have run out of options...and for the moment, we may have. But then, I think, it's time to take a deep breath and to step back just a bit to take another look at the situation...and move forward...in whatever way is best. Sometimes thinking of others first is a good thing...and other times, I think it's time to put self first!
